Purple heart

hello people!! :)
so far I have finished only a few chapters of Purple Heart. I don’t like reading much :P
so I have read that in 1970 a Samoan family has moved into NZ as immigrants .
Ta'afuli’s little brother (Vile) gave him a firework for his birthday present and they both light up the fireworks and burn the new garage that their parents had just recently built. He then has to go to De la Salle College, a private catholic college for boys in Mangere east. Ta'afuli's brother (Vile) keeps getting into trouble at school because he is hanging out with the wrong crowd. He gets sent home by the police more than 4 times and his dad has had enough and started beating Vile up with a belt and iron cord. “My dad whipped V with a belt, then the cord of an iron". And his sisters and mother were crying. At the end his dad gave up because V pretended that he was dieing. And his dad tied him up in the shed. By chapter 3 Andrew starts developing heart problems, such as lack of focus and energy. He thought he was getting a fever and the doctor just prescribed him with Paracetamol (Panadol). His problems kept increasing and he eventually collapsed and went in an ambulance and arrive at Middlemore hospital with a temperature of 40 degrees. The doctors said that he has Rheumatic fever.
And that's where I’m up to so far :)
